Bike died at stop light

I was just about home the other day from a one hour ride on my 88 lowrider, (it ran flawlessly the whole ride ), when I rolled up to a stop light and the bike popped and died right out , no lights - nothing . I have no power any where. any ideas on where I should start looking ? The battery is fairly new and the battery terminals are clean and tight .

I realize your probably freaking out right now and need answers but after your bikes up and running head over to the new to the community forum and introduce yourself.

art by checking the Maxi Fuse, it kills the whole bikes electric. Then see what if any codes your bike has.

Check the battert at the terminals first. use appropriate test equiptment. then chack the ground to the chassis.

Unfortunatly , I don't have a manual yet. Could someone please tell me where the fuses are ?

Chasis ground is good , battery is good ( Check fuel and spark ????? - heck I don't have any power to turn the motor, it's obviously electrical , but thanks )

Had that happen to me once. Total catastrophic electrical failure. Kind of like turning off the key. I checked the ignition switch and sure enough, the circle connector on the hot line broke off the switch. You might try looking there.
