well it finally happened, my stator is dead

Well it finally happened, my stator is dead (R.I.P) now i have a stupid 700lb paper weight. sorry i am just ranting!

I'm not a fan of the whole "yank the primary chain and sprockets thing". Ironically, over the last 2 years, I've done my fair share of it.

Just make sure you Loctite the stator screws and make sure none of them come loose.

That sucks. Happened to me in the first 100 miles when I bought the buell used. I shopped around and used ebay j&p and chicago harley for the parts. Get an owners manual it's not hard to do. Just annoying that they die on ya. Prime riding time to. Bummer. Good luck.

Your telling me! I found a stator for a good price. I just dont want to *** anything up! I do have a service manual but still sucks if i *** it all up!
