turn signal woes

OK, I used the seach function (so that's what that thing is for) and I couldn't find anything that was dealing with same isue I am.

I removed the front turn signals from my bike, and now the rear ones won't flash. ok, so this tells me it is wire like a car and the front and rear need to be wired together to make a complete circuit. I see alot of bike that only have rear blinkers, so how do I get my rears to work without having front ones?

thanks for any help
Jay

Not that they have to wired together to make a circuit, but your flasher relay needs so many amps of resistence to make it work, and you just removed half the source.

The only way you can run just two flashing lights, vs four total is to add what's called a t/s balancer, or find a flasher with a much lower (50%) resistence trip number.

flasher relay work by heating up and cooling off by the load on them , get a relay that works on timer in it not by the load on relay.
