Angry My 07 Ultra Classic died

Yep..... My "New to me" 07 ultra classic quit on me and it looks like it's being towed to the shop later this week. I rode it to work on Friday and it was just fine until I went to leave for home. It fired up just fine and after warming it up I took off out the driveway but as some as I got to the street and went to accelerate, it flat died. I fired it up again and would idle just fine but if I even free wound it in neutral to 3000 rpm's it would die. It is probably a fuel pump problem or maybe a dirty filter or something but unfortunately I am not able to diagnose the problem so to the shop it goes.

Do you guys have any thoughts? At this point, I wish it had a carburetor and ignition points because I could probably make it run.

tank

It's the gas tank outlet chrome retaining ring . It works like a quick disconnect fitting on a air supply hose for air tools . Just push up on the bottom of the gas line on the bottom of the tank while pushing up on the chrome retaining . after you bottom out the gas line release the chrome ring an tug down to lock the ring in place. this is a 07 ultra common problem . just doo it ! Keep us posted I think the ECO stuff they added in 07 has led to some diagnostic and run problems they replaced two o2 sensors on my rear and the found a broken injector wire Personally I think it was the broken injector wire all along. Now I'm up for a throttle cable replacement because the "cruize" is non functional.
Never had a total stall out. Although just about a week ago My fob wouldnt deactivate the alarm. On a hunch I moved the bike away from the building and some parking lot lighting and I got the proper response I'm surmising some electronic interference from one of the former caused it.

Check to see if the accessory fuse is still good. My '03 Ultra Classic did the same thing and every time it blew the accessory fuse. I thought it strange that the accessory fuse would have anything to do with the engine running but it surely did on my '03. It also may not run correctly as long as there's a code.

Well.............Here's what the shop says. They were having the same problem as I was but suddenly the bike started running alright. They think that there must have been something plugging the enjectors and it finally cleared itself. There were no codes showing on the scan so I hope that the problem is fixed. I will be picking the bike up tonight. I just hope that this is not one of those speratic problems that come and goes. Those drive me nuckin futs.

So thanks everybody and wish me luck. You know......Come to think of it. Do you think that maybe I've got a defective Gremlin Bell?

I had this same symptom today ... I replaced the fuel feed line from the tank to the fuel log , it's an updated P/N and an updated fuel line . The old fuel line was corroded and the o-ring was shot !

Maybe the problem . If the fuel line doesn't do it then it's possible the CKP is going bad even though there's no codes . Could be something totally different too like some bad fuel maybe . Look at the old fuel line where it plugged into the tank , is it rusty ?
