Both sprockets can be unloaded and removed without taking the pressure off the pushrods . Even if the cams move it's simple enough to realign the timing marks .

Thanks SCHMIDTYS,
I thought the load on opposing lobs would stop any movement then again being both cams, chain drive, move in the same direction.
I thought they might not have an opposing load.

What effect do you think a +4* cam timing change would have on a 96tc with stock cams?

Al

I think that +4 degree gear is intended for modified cams . I've never installed one and don't have my book under my nose to look it up . My judgement tells me your engine would lose some power .
