Prodrag has the right idea instead of welding. I do not have a way to machine it tho.

Smile Thanks!

Thanks for all the great feedback!

Although I consider myself mechanically incline, a mechanical designer by trade, designing assembly and test equipment for the auto industry, This is my first HD. A 1952 titled Panhead, made up of parts from 1948-1958 (58 duo glide frame). Acquired from my best buddy after his death. It needs much TLC, last year I completely rebuilt the transmission with help from people like you, This year the motor. Next year? I completely fell in love with my Panhead, working on it, riding it and the whole mystic of a Panhead. It has been a life changing journey! My only regret is, I didn't start it earlier.

I am getting the case ready to send the to prodrag.

Thanks again for all the great feedback from this community!!!!!

The 7075-T6 is VERY strong aluminum.
Strong enough that we manufactured our front axle for our Modified Class racer from it.

Just got my case back from Kirby (prodrag1320) and I've got to say, he did a sweet job on it. Very pleased with the price and workmanship!

Nice job Kirby! I will keep your # in my back pocket!
