2011 Street Glide PowerPak Upgrades

Finally got my 2011 Street Glide with the PowerPak option last week and already thinking of what I want to add first. Got the usual option from the dealer of any items I buy and have them install in the next 60 days would be covered under the factory warranty. Really thinking about the SE 103 cams but not sure what else I would need to upgrade at the same time. I assume an air intake and possibly headers and mufflers to get the maximum performance but not sure if I would have to do when the cams are installed or catch them at a later date. Of all things the wife said she wants the bike to have a deeper sound and be louder so I told her she could buy the pipes. I don’t want it so loud the neighbors complain every time I take it out but something with that rips when you get on it would be cool.

Let me know what the experts on here think and what parts you may be able to recommend from past experiences or upgrades.

I would deffinitely do the cams, exhaust, intake, and some sort of fuel management system. I have the SE 255 cams. These are torque cams, I am liking them so far. In hindsight, I would probably have preferred a little more cam. I am a bit of a throttle jockey, and I like my power. The 255's do have some good power, I can just never have enough. I am pretty happy with the power I have. I need to add a Power Commander V asap. I want to enrichin the mixture and get a good dyno tune. Just saving my pennies till then. I have always liked Vance & Hines exhaust personally. They can be a tad on the loud side, but they have "quite" baffles available. I am running the the V&H Radius shots on my SG. I like them, they are loud when on th gas though.

TinyPW, what kind of cams would you have rather had for more power that would work with the stock 103 power pack engine on the 2011 street glide. I like you prefer horsies to torqies.....not, i love them both but would like power to rule.

I don't have any experiance with any other cams. But I do know that the 255's that I have seem to run out of breath past 5000 rpm. It will pull to 6000, but I think I would have preferred the SE 259 E. the SE 254E seems like it would rev out a bit better, more duration. What I can say about the 255's is that they are a torque cam, and they make torque. I am happy with the 255's but when its time, I will step up for more. I do like the amount of smoke that my SG will roll off the rear tire with the 255's.
