They were a unique look, but the large chamber, along with the Shovel's too-large port design, did not lend anything to the engine.
BUT, IF, you were to get the cubes up, say, in the mid-nineties-up, THEN, the ports begin to work, sort of.
The Iron XL heads can be brazed, to get a raised floor going, and if worked with on a flow bench, will work.
Just paint 'em silver.
