Thinking of changing my cams???

Hello guys,
I have a 07 FLHTC (Road King Classic) 96 motor in it with 30,000
miles. Rinheart exhasts, I'm thinking of putting a new set of cams in there to enhance the performance some. Does anyone have any suggestions or is it as simple as ordering the upgrade from HD with a shimpack kit and run with it? I'm curious to see what you guys have done or would suggest.

Suggestions

Two cams come to mind....the SE 255 and the Andrews 48. Both of these work well in a 96". There are lot of others but these two come to mind. You will also need some sort of tuner that has the ability to adjust timing as well as fuel and I personally recommend a custom dyno tune to get the most out of your engine. Changing cams is more complex an issue than just which sticks to use. Good luck!

Of the 2 suggested, the 48 will dump heat better, and carry out farther.

Andrews TW37 is a great set of cams wich doesnt requier any other modifications and gives you a big boost in the range you need it.

pull & mill heads & go with 37`s set @ 10.0-1 or S&S .570`s set @ 9.8-1

We've seen that 48 hover at/near 90 hp and 100 ft/lbs in those 96"ers, striking big torque very quickly.
