compression check

I'm seeing a solid 180 psi on a compression check (Stock 96 in). The bike starts slow and alittle weezy stock 09 EG with rush headers. New SE wire, plugs, battery, SE compensator. Starting to think thats the way the bike is. My valve train seem to ticking a little loader then normal.

How many miles do you have on the bike?
I would also do leak down test.
Try running some seafoam in the gas or some good injector cleaner for a tank or 2 of gas.

8 complete cranks on the starter, throttle plate fully opened, and battery charger in place is how we perform that check.
