So I called the nearest HD dealer that used to sell Buells. A week to ten days to get the part. Just out of curiosity could we use an automotive PCV valve?

Remove the PCV and shake it, if it rattles it's probably still okay. It's a one way valve so pressure should only go through it in one direction.
