Don't know. Knowing my luck, it is. Bike is currently in pieces. About to throw it in a bag and take it someone who knows what the phuq they're doing, 'cause I sure as hell don't.

I hate "in pieces" - that's the current state of my bike, but not for long. The rest of my parts should be here end of the week or beginning of next.

Did you see any signs of leakage between the head and cylinder fins?

This is an older thread. I was searching valve train noise saw "Dave's" post on Seafoam. A few months a ago "Mrmetal" suggested running Seafoam though my engine. I went down to the beach and bottled up a couple pints.

On a serious note, I picked up a bottle at Napa and poured some in the case and fuel tank. I also spayed some aerosol seafoam into the throttle body. I've been riding most of my life and you get used to the tap tap tap... But my sled was getting loud and F'ing up my inner Chi. I was apposed to pouring any snake oil into my bike but seeing I'll be tearing the motor down in the near future I decided what can it hurt.

The Seafoam worked great. The valve train noise is back to normal and the engine smoothed out. Thanks
