Reinhart vs Rush?

It seems as if everything I have read on here so far is that Reinhart is about the best slip on you can get. I was just wondering how something like Rush slip ons compare. I ask because my local HD dealer is really pushing the Rush set.

Side note - I am not really wanting a really loud exhaust, just a step up from the stock Dyna SG pipes with a little deeper rumble. Thanks a ton for the feedback its much appreciated!

I dont know how they compare, but I just bought a set of Rush slipons and I love them. Theyre a bit louder than expected, but it grows on ya.
P.S., my dealer really pushed the Rush pipes too. Wonder why???

Hmmmm........My dealer is pushing the Rush cans too, but I was told because it was older stock.

I looked at both, but have only owned Reinhart.

A friend has Rush.

To me, at least, Reinhart has a deeper, lower grumble. Both are equally loud.

Rush is a one piece, chromed canister, with internal baffles. (removable)

Reinharts is a chromed canister, with a removable black, aluminum tip, and removable baffles,

What I love about the Reinharts, over the Rushs, is the Reinharts are almost as quiet as stock at idle, and up to about 1500 rpms. You can sneak around with them a little and not be that loud, until you really get on it.

Do the Reinharts have baffle options? As in quieter than whatever their standard is?

I wondered about this, but they stock of Rush is limited, and they were talking about having new ones in soon. I dont know if maybe my dealer has some sort of deal with Rush since we are not to far from their facility?

Thanks again for all of the feedback it is much appreciated!

Not sure about baffle options.....

My parts guy had a slip of paper with their Rush inventory on it. Prices were slashed 30%.

On the bottom of the list, in hand writing, was "Try to sell Rush stock first!!!"

The set of pipes from Rush would have been almost $150 cheaper (slash cut cans) then the Reinharts, but I was replacing a damaged set, and knew what I wanted.

What size baffle are you currently using?

Gotta love it when they try to push stuff instead of give you the best options you are looking for.

I was told by a Harley Dyno Tech that he got better easier tunes with the Rush. He also showed me the tune sheets. I thought they were really good. He has Rush mufflers on his RK!!!
