Replacement Pipes for 2010 Road/Street Glide

I have heard good things from the guys at Columbia H-D in Vancouver, WA about the SE Nightstick (Supertrapp disc-system slip-ons), a SE A/C, and simple download. Economical as no tuner and no dyno tuning. (Saves perhaps $500-$600?) Thoughts on this?

Also considering a complete exhaust replacement (to be rid of the catalytic converters in the head pipes). Any great ways to go with this route? Presume will need a SE ST or SE RT or PC V, or tuner of some sort and the cost of a dynotuning?

I really want a more responsive throttle and better low end torque from my new 2010 Road Glide FLTRX. Thank you, in advance.

I'm looking to do exhaust and intake on my 2010 SG. Vance & Hines has the Big Radius 2pipe option that I'm looking at. They are also offering 2 slip on options. D&D is also offering a slip on, otherwise not much out there yet. Regardless of what I end up with I plan to use the Thundermax (w/autotune) ECM. Installed a TM on my wife's 07 St. Bob and I'm extemely happy with it for a variety of reasons. I'll be curious to hear what you end up with. Good Luck.

2010 Models have smaller O2 sensors just make sure you take that into account when doing full exhaust

DHart,
My 2010 FLTRX came in on Friday, and looks just like yours. I was at the dealer's shop today, and my mechanic had it on the rack. I am having a SE Heavy Breather put on, a Power Commander V, and D&D flat black Boss slip-on pipe (555-11B).The flat black heat shields from H-D work perfectly with this set up. The catalog states that the shields will not work on the 2010 2 into 1, but with the D&D muffler, they do.
These improvements should let the bike breathe better, run cooler, look a LOT cooler, sound better, and have a bit more power.
This is my 6th Road Glide. I love the things.

Hey Jeff... small world, eh? I've visited your site for years and you may recognize me from my heavy participation and gun photo posts on the 1911Forum, S&W Forum, HighRoad, FiringLine, GlockTalk, etc. And here we are riding the same RG! Cool.

Let's see some pics of your bike!!! I think I'm going to wind up with D&D 2 into 1 complete exhaust, SE air cleaner, SEST tuner, and 103ci Stage I Big Bore kit. Will be doing this soon.

I will probably pick mine up around Wednesday or so. I have a 12 inch smoked windshield on the way, plus heated grips yet to be installed.

I just purchased my 2010 SG this weekend and had them put the SE Nightstick on as part of the deal. I really like it. I have V&H Radius on my chopper and it's much louder, but I'm also have a much larger engine on that.

I like it because it was quick, cheap, no tuning required, and it's a good starting point. I understand you can also replace the discs on it for even a more aggressive sound.

So my recommendation is get it. I have it and enjoy it. My buddies say it sounds great when they rode with me.

And - great looking bike. I went with the Vivid Black. Your color was my second choice.

I have the new night stick and bumped to 103CI with race tuner if you are just looking for sound and not performance its a less expensive way to and I did add 6 more disc, did make it sound better. It was dynoed and the cat converter got so hot it was glowing red and flamed the exhaust tube out melted the ceramic shield on the inside of the night stick. So I'm going to try the Rush Slip-on with 2.25 Baffle let you know how it works.would like to know if anyone has removed catalytic converter and how it worked out for them.
