bafflectomy in cali.
Attempted a "stage 1" bafflectomy on my 09 dyna today.
Took off the mufflers and without looking slid a half inch steel rod in the muffler and gave it a few wacks. seemed like nothing was happening so i grabbed a flashlight to take a look down there and i could see the plug but it didnt seem like any light was comeing through the other end like in the pictures from daves thread.
So i turned the muffler around to take a look and the entire thing is full of catalyst.
Seems that the california bikes have catalytic converters.

You got legislation on the way (I heard) mandating a inspection every six months so I wouldnt get too carried away on the baffle thing yet.

read that, to include emission testing as well?
