EXHAUST SYSTEM #65842-00A or #65842-07

Will a HARLEY EXHAUST SYSTEM #65842-07 for a FLSTC, this part number is for model years 07 - 11, fit on a 1996 FLSTC with the Evo motor?
What about EXHAUST SYSTEM #65842-00A, which is for model years '00-'06?

I've seen a few after market systems that will fit '94-'06 softails is this true for OEM system?

The big difference is any 07-11 exhaust system has O2 sensor bungs that needs to be plugged.

Out side of that, the head spacing is the same. You may have to modify a mounting point, but it should bolt up.

SE mufflers have nothing to do with the head pipe. Mufflers are the same as well.

. Softail didn't get O2 sensors till 2007. Even so, you can plug the sensor ports on headers off newer models and use them on older models.

05 and 96 are interchangeable as long as mounts are identical at right lower frame.
