V&H Staggered Short Shots

Yesterday I installed the quiet baffles on my 96 Heritage....And yes it did quieten down the bike and gave me the needed backpressure required for this bike....Lot deeper throatier sound and not near as loud on the neighbors....
Got to say fellas that I must have had a bad set of pipes, cause this job was a bitch doing it with pipes on the bike...The top installed fairly easy but the bottom pipe was a whole different story....had to hammer the baffle in....Got lucky and the hole lined up afterwards....Then had to pull the front exhaust off the cylinder flange to work the heat shield back on....

I put the Staggered Short Shots w/ the "quiet baffle" on my XL. I wish I would have seen before I finished, but you must remove the heat shields to gain access to the screw on the baffles. I would have drilled a 5/16" hole on each so I could change back to the stock baffle when I felt like it. But, I'm too lazy now to go through all that.
