Good exhaust for 2001 Ultra Classic

Just bought my 2001 Ultra and want to get factory exhaust off it. I am not looking to spend a fortune just want to sound a little better. I would prefer slip-ons. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Rinehart is a good choice in slip ons, very nice sound.
Or you could find some used screamin eagle slip ons fairly cheap on ebay I would think and they sound decent.

Another option would be to look into Big City Thunder. They have all different sound levels of replacement baffle options. I just put the Quick and Quiet head pipe baffles in and then removed the broken and rattly ones inside the SE slipons I already had. Sounds much better, deeper and more rumbly but not a droning sound.
I attached a small pic, the slip one now goes over this and the small bolt keeps it solid

This summer I replaced the stock system with a Rinehart 3.5 inch true dual system. I know you said you prefer slip ons, but this made a difference with performance and I love the sound.

Just remember you have FI and go much past slip ons and intake you may need to re-tune. That means more $$

Not if you just do slip ons...
Beyond that you will need to look at FI correction.
