Put exhaust on last night now technical difficulties.

Put new Big Louies on my 2001 Ultra last night. Started it up and it ran fine. This morning I take it out of the garage go to start it starts first time and dies. Then will turn over but won't start. I took the plugs out and cleaned them put them back in and it started took it for a short ride and it ran fine. Do you think the not starting was exhaust related or I need new plug and it was just a coincidence. Plug were black and wet when I cleaned them.

2001 is the last year for MM EFI. Check the cam cover for the wire for the cam sensor. Do you recall moving it, bumping it, or otherwise?? As well.....therre's a harness that runs under the right side of the frame, with a connector there. Make sure nothing got yanked there, too.

If you turned the bike off/on a few times without starting it, it can happen.

Check for codes too. The no start may have triggered codes, that might tell ya something.
