I'm guessing it'll probably can your warranty, although dealers in the 1990's were doing it for customers on carbed bikes.
Secondly, you're running on the lean side now, so deleting any backpressure isn't in your favor, but it won't hurt anything, as long as you still have a stock airfilter.
I just banged out the baffled cap on a 2008 Rocker 3 weeks ago, and it sounded like a new bike.
