Packing...Remap?

I have been thinking about packing my exhaust with the fiberglass slilencer kits like FMF sells for Motocross Bikes (or similar product).

If I do, will I have to reMAP the ECU?

The pipe I have are V&H Stepped Drag pipes w/baffles.

If adding packing, you'll probably add a little backpressure and make it run a little better/richer. I don;t see the need for something so minor. It'll probably run better....

I'm about to try this same thing with my modified VH Quiet baffles, and use steel wool.

Nice topic here, I was thinking of doing the same thing, because my baffles aren't doing much to quiet it down and it's loud as hell.That was the answer I wanted to hear Dave!

really shouldnt need to remap,unless your on the edge of being too rich right now.you wnt really know for sure until you do it,put about 25 miles and do a plug check
