You'll hate this tidbit, BigRed, but NOTHING you can do to a TwinCam
in the way of loud pipes, will make it anywhere near as loud as a V-Rod with loud pipes
... a difference in the 2X or 3x range.
I must say, even tho' it's almost refreshingly honest and you're not the first to seek loudness above all else,
IMHO it's cheesy, foolish, and immature WAY beyond words.
Permanent hearing damage will quite likely be a many decades-long payback.

LOL...my Night Rod with the Thunderheader on it is wild! But with the proper tuner etc...it has added to the HP...I get way more comments about it than I ever did with the loud pipes on my Low Rider...that sounded just like any other loud Harley

Cycle Shack. I had a set on my 97 dresser. Man, they were loud. louder than any drag pipe I ever heard, and they had a great tone. I see a set on ebay right now for less than $300.

Dude, You can have loud and performance. I'm running "performance Plus" Baffles in my Porker pipes and with the other mods I'm getting 84 horse to the rear tire and still getting 35mpg. Plenty fast enough for me but practical.

Pointless to mention, I'm sure, that you can have power without loud too.
Stock V-Rods make 110 hp and are very quiet.
I find it a lot easier to use power that is quiet. But that's just me.

Really? Would you expect V&H to tell you someone else's pipes were the BEST?
STRAIGHT PIPES......

If you really want to know in person, hit up a local rally, poker run, charity event or even a couple stealerships on a weekend. When you hear some pipes you like, ask the guy (or gal) about them. Most are thrilled that you noticed and are happy to tell you every detail about their pipes.
