Question Modifying exhaust pipes?

Has any one heared of having original mufflers being modified by American custom ??

I am sorry for not to introduce my self to this thread I am very new to Harley just bought a 09 street glide. I love the bike looking for some louder exhaust and by accident stumbled upon Americancustm web site and found out that they can modify my stock mufler for $179.00, great price, on their web site one can listen to the sound after modification.. I tell you what it sounds great real deep throaty sound check it out. Oh by the way I am not a rep or any thing like that. I do want to thank all of you for your knowledge.

Hello . ...do you have to get the high flow air intake system and some sort of fuel management system with rush 2 1/2 slip ons mufflers .. oh by the way I have 09 street glide

Use the search function. Most of this has been discussed more than oil.

As well, try not to hijack another person's thread and make your introduction in it.

You dont HAVE to get the highflow intake system, if all you;re looking for is a louder exhaust. If you want a total performance package, then yes, and a FMS will be needed. The 09 bikes are a little more self-adapting to certain changes, but I can't say I'm familiar with the company you're talking about,, that mods stock mufflers.
