Screamin' EagleŽ Street Performance Slip-On Mufflers - One Piece - Slash Down

Hi Folks: Just wondering if anybody has installed these Screamin' EagleŽ Street Performance Slip-On Mufflers - One Piece - Slash Down Part# 80721-09 on their 09 Touring bike ? Just curious as to how the bike runs as the dealer says theres no tuner upgrade needed if the Air Cleaner is not touched. I'm just looking for alittle more performance and that great Harley Sound. Thanx for your feedback.

Have them on my '09 FLHX. Could be what you are looking for... there is no need to mess with the ECM if you just place them and keep the stock air cleaner. Pleased with the volume and tone. Not too loud but definitely louder than stock. A sweet and classic exhaust note.

Question Screamin Eagle Performance Touring Mufflers

Did you install the Screamin Eagle Performance Slip-ons? Would be interested in your opinion.
I purchased the Performance Touring mufflers and will be installing them next weekend when my end caps get in.

D&D makes a two-into-one pipe called the Fat Cat that is very popular with touring bike riders. It is a tunable pipe that fairly quiet. My local Harley dealership tech guys said that they are probably the best exhaust on the market for making power across a wide power band without losing any low end torque and still maintaining a pleasant exhaust note.

They said that the put a set on a touring machine with a Harley Stage 1 intake and a remap; the HP went from 66 to 88. That is some pretty cheap hp.
