I know the older rods have the clips. What about this one? My manual doesn't say much about it and I want to change the plugs and check the filter but it seems like there is something retianing it once the pull pin is out of the base. It feels like it will come but I don't want to chance it in case they're not just retaining clips. Any help is appreciated.

I just got my 2009 Muscle home and put some miles on it today.
I am an older rider at 59 and I am 5'9".
I like the forward controls (my heritage classic has them too) but I wish the handlebars were about 3 inches closer so I did not have to lean so far forward. It causes a stiff neck after about 30 minutes.
Anyone hear about a handlebar kit for the muscle?

I ride a Road Glide but have a friend looking at a VRod. Only thing about the bike is he is not 100% sure about the forward controls. Are there any kits to modify the controls to bring them back a bit? I know Harley makes a kit that brings them back an inch, but any aftermarket that may make a mid control kit?
