I found maybe 3 tablespoons of water when I changed the oil in the transmission. We went on a 4500 mile trip and rode in the rain for a couple of days.
Also when I got home I used a pressure washer for the first time to clean the bike. This was before I changed the oil.
Is this normal? Is there maybe a way to change the breather tube to prevent this?
Syn oil is the way to go. Water wont mix with it!!!

Küryakyn Street Sleeper HiFlow kits on my 06 Electra Glide Classic.
I'm having trouble with the foot plate as a result of doing so. The Kit sits out so far on the bike that it pushs my leg out making the ride uncomfortable and the foot plate seem out of position. Any Ideas or mods?
Thanks

Good afternoon everyone.

Looking for some insight from anyone who owns, has owned or is familar with Electra Glide Classic with an HD sidecar?

I am in the likely process of purchasing an 03 Classic with Sidecar (Harley Sidecar)

Looking for pointers, suggestions, and experiences with them.

How easy to dismantle with brake lines?

Came across a very low mileage 03 Mint Condition. Only 8K on it.

Will it retain anymore value?

I think it would be a really cool bike to have!

its in the Gunmetal color!

Thanks in advance for all responses.

Vance and Hines Pro Pipe and a H-D Heavy Breather A/C. Took it to the dealer to get the Stage I download. They did it and said it was WAY lean... so we went with the SERT and the Dyno tune... Didn't expect to spend that kind of dough...but easy come easy go I guess.. Said he picked up about 9 hp and 17 ftlb tq over an average SG. He didn't have it to start with so baseline is just an educated guess by tech. Tq number sounds kinda crazy....

Road it a little this afternoon. That ProPipe isn't for the weak of heart let me tell YOU! Hit the throttle and it sounds like a German MG-42 going off! Loudest pipe I've ever owned! But I have to admit it's kinda bad-a$$ and I kinda like it! It's VERY distinctive! I've never heard anything like it. Hope I can STAND it on a long trip! Sounds best around 2800-3100 rpm or so just going down the road... I'm gonna really try to NOT get a quiet-baffle... We will see.. It SEEMS to have a good bit more off the line...

SE Heavy Breather A/C.... I'm really neutral on this one. I really like the way it LOOKS.... I have to admit it really gets in the way a little bit... ALSO... it's long and it vibrates some...not as compact as the stock or stage I A/C kit..

i have installed the zumo 660 on my 2010 ultra.I used the wiring harness supplied with gps unit.I can get my cell phone paired with the gps but I do not seem to be able to answer a call over my helmet intercom. I have connected the wire supplied from the gps audio out to the harmon K. radio via the small plug on the front of the radio. I can see that I have an incomming call but when I hit the answer button on gps screen I can not hear anyone . Can anyone tell me what the problem may be? Also i have set radio to aux mode when call is coming in.Do I need to use the ptt switch to talk? Do I need to be parked for it to work? There are two small connectors on the end of the wiring harness that the audio jack would plug into but I have it going to radio. Any help is appreciated.thanks

Hey, in the FWIW department, brought the '09 Street Glide in for some service last week and the service writer checked the front tire. I did not know the factory installed a series of '09 FLH bikes with the front tire backwards... the tread pattern pointing the wrong direction. Perhaps it has been noted here, or I've been existing with my head in the sand. For sure at least the latter. I couldn't tell there was any kind of funny handling, or unusual road "noise". I asked what were the effects and he noted the potential for the tire to cup, or get a flat spot in the middle more easily. He said it wasn't a recall item, but a warranty item. Anyway, the tire wasn't cupping and I had some good life still left on the front tire, but ended up leaving the dealer with a new front tire anyway. Just passing this along in case there's any reapplication here for you.

Was told the lever will mount near front of seat and is almost inconspicuous to passerby's is that true? Does it adjust enough to be practical and is the 3 hundy about the right price. Looking for input on both sides unsure about this mod. spend most of the time on the bike solo. Thanks in advance for your input.

First I just want to ask does anyone know why the thread by Brucks54 was closed, I thought there was some good content there? That being said I do agree totally with ya Dave ya need to do more than just change out the air flow to get good results. Now my question is do I need to change out my pipes? I have upgraded to the SE air filter, Vance and Hines Oval slip on's, PCV and also put on the SE Premium Oil Cooler. I have an 09 RKC and since doing all this the bike seems to be running great, except for the temp which has not seem to come down to my liking. Today I put on about 140 miles to Laconia and back in 95 degree temps and my digital oil temp gauge read 245. Can anyone please tell me if adding V&H power duals will help with the air flow to bring the temp down or is the 245 degree temp about normal for 95 degree ambient temp. I am also running Mobil 1 Syn and no I have not had a dyno done for a of different reasons. Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.....and as always thank you all you military people for keeping our country safe!!
