IS it Normal to have your posts removed?

Just wondering as I think one of mine was removed without word. I don't think there was any Cursing or Anti Family type text placed in the post, Someone Claimed to do something that was Obviously misleading so I asked about it, what is the "Line" in these situations? Are you Allowed to comment on a Obvious misleading topic or is that considered "Confrontation?"

I just checked all your posts, and none have been deleted. You have 16 posts, and if one was deleted, it would show up in the "Daed Post" section, as we rarely physically delete posts here, rather move them to a "special place".

I deleted your post.

And I did put in a reason when I did so. I put in "Stupid Crap" as the reason.

You put the following post in SmokingSam's thread.
Smoking Sam never portrayed his Sportster as being stock.
In fact his very first post SAID it was 89 ci.
So how the hell is that "Obviously misleading"?
The only post misleading is the first one in this thread.

This is the title of the thread >

Sporty spanks a V-rod in 1/4 mile!

And sorry, but that is a misleading pile of shit. Ha!

Why not remove that?

IMHO, that call was a little arbitrary.

Dave and Kainam have both responded more sharply than that,

I know I have, when somebody has made what we considered a ridiculous statement.

I also don't think the original poster misrepresented the tale, either.

What's he suposed to call his bike now, is it not still a Sportster?

Still I think Lux's argument was in bounds.

ah good so I am not losing my mind. I would usually chock this up to different out looks and be it But since I have a VROD and have dealt with "these types" since day 1 about how my bike is not this and is not that I found his title incredibly misleading and since its Hidden in a Sportster thread its a nice little corner for more of these peoplle to sit around and spout off their nonsense. Its misleading and you know it because only an infant would not see my point. I do appreciate your coming forward and admitting to taking it away even though false facts where posted and I had no reason not to beleive them. I am going to guess you Dont own a Vrsc model bike nor ever dealt with the attitude of the people who are against them. Why didint he post this in the Vrsc section? Why arent you Correcting the people that are saying things like "Gotta Love them Sporty's" When we all know its as much a Sportie now as that Chevette is?

Or the Obvious misleadings that the Author went on with for more than a page of responses including claiming to be less experienced than the other rider.

How can it BE HIS 1st trip to the track in 2 years if He has RAced the guy in question with in the last year? Again Misleading, no?
Its HArd to take a "Public Forum" serious when its allows one sides arguments to exists even when the opposing views does not fall under any of the "Forum Etiquette rules" and you just use the "Stupid Crap" reason (Which isnt mentioned the Forum Etiquette rules). About as good as a parent saying "Because I said So". Odd that you seem to be a Fan of the Great Thomas Jefferson too, who was Against such censorship.
