Question Parade Fans/oil Filter Attachment

I have an 03 FLHTCUI. I am interested in buying a LeNale parade fan to install on the horn bracket. I also saw a finned style oil filter attachment you can buy to attach to the oil filter to reduce heat. Does anyone else have these? Is this worth the money to help keep the engine cooler? Pls reply.

parade fan OK , oil filter gadget??? You'll get more for your dollar if you just go ahead and fork out for an oil cooler and adapter plate. As in Jagg oil coolers or HD versions

Check out this oil filter unit from Pure Power. I'm putting one on my scoot in the next couple of weeks, kinda pricey but worth it after talking to a few Harley techs that have used them...

Youd have to tell me how that works. I think HD is selling a permanent can, replaceable paper type unit????

One of these? (see oil filter in the front?)

No noticable improvements.

They use their oil which helps increase HP, but because the filter flowes 22 gallons per minute versus HD's filters of 7-9 gallons per minute..your oil drag is decreased and the motor runs cooler...am putting one on my scoot...

Don't have any info on the parade fan but I ordered three different oil filter coolers from three different manufactures to see which one I like the best.

By themselves may not be of much benefit unless you have a hugh amount of unobstructed airflow over the cooling fins and a snug fit. But together with a oil cooler and syn oils they all add up.

The best oil filter cooler I ran across is offered by: K & P Engineering . They have the same type high flow filter Blackdog mentioned in chrome, Black Anodized, Diamond Cut, and Standard machined billet finish.
