Guys w/ SCREAMING EAGLE HEAVY BREATHER

I have an issue & gotta ask if anyone else encountered this during install? (if you installed) Did your back plate tighten? For an '09 RK they tell you to discard the Thick gasket, but in doing so there's a 1/4 gap & backplate bottoms out, can't go any farther? Even w/ thick gasket, still 1/8-3/16 gap..Never EVER had an issue w/ SS carbs or Edelbrock...DAMB Harley....Trying to figure out whats up?

I didn't have any problem with mine. Just put it on last week. Don't know what to say. I'm sure someone will come with some knowledge.
