Ok I know that was just an example but I had 4 heart attacks and their thinking about putting in a pacemaker defibulator. When I filed for disability I was making 1300 to 1700 a week driving a semi truck. Federal DOT will not let me drive anymore and I seriously doubt there is a job out there that I can make that kinda money again. Doctors don't want me to do anything real strenuous. I do not believe riding a motorcycle is strenuous. If it is then so is driving a car.

I probably wouldnt go for the Ultra classic then, a Softail or a Dyna keep it around town till you get used to it. (I'm takin it like you aint been riding for awhile.) Mostly a leg strength issue And honestly they are more of a drain than a car. Kinda like riding a horse or skiing if you aint did it for some time you get sore.

But dont get me wrong I'm all for riding no matter what

A person I know has had several bypasses and a bunch of stints installed.
The Doc signed a paper that said he has five years to go if He continues smoking and seven if He quits.
He applied for SSDI and got it immediately without any restrictions.
Best dang tree man in the country, uses ropes and spurs and do`nt give a hoot about tomorrow.
He says I`ve lived a good and exciting life, done more than most people on the planet and had a good time doing it.I wouldnt change a thing and i am not afraid of dying,When the good Lord calls Me home I am ready rather My friends like it or not.

A bro I know has been on SSI diability for about 10 years now...He sweats every year cause they make him take a physical every year to determine his eligibility...That sucks I know...Even though he has cages in his back from a bike accident, he still has to get that physical..One time they told him he had to take this office job...He did it because he was afraid they would deny him his benefits..Job didn't last long because of the pain from sitting for hours..But at least he tried..He owns a bike, but be very careful...They may try and photograph you...

Not relateed to SSI disability but my buddy has handicap plates on his Ultra. At our job us peons have to park in the south forty parking lot while the managers park close. He snagged a handicapped parking spot right next to where our boss parked which caused no end of agitation on the boss's part over the apparent inconsistency of a handicap plate on a 900 lb motorcycle.
