Feedback on any Bike to Bike Intercoms

I'm debating purchasing the Scala Rider Cardo System to use for bike to bike communication between my wife and I when we ride. Anybody have any words of wisdom in regards to this or a similar product? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have the "Chatterbox" Great reception but it takes a while to get use to it. Its voice activated or you can push a button. When the other person is talking there is a definite pause before you can speak.

Thanks for that, supposedly with the Cardo that is not an issue, We'll see if anyone else chimes in.

If you get it let me know how they work. This setup we have cost us over $700.00, you would think you wouldn't get a delay.

I have the Chatterbox unit (5 mile range) and use it frequently. I wear a 1/2 helmet so can't really use the voice activated function due to wind noise. I have the push button on my left hand grip and just push it with my thumb to transmit. Everyone says they can hear me just fine. The little speakers that attach to the inside of the helmet are easy to hear and cause no discomfort. There is a about a second delay when you speak though. It's just a matter of pushing the button, wait a second, and speak. Otherwise the person you're speaking to misses your first word. You get used to it quickly.
I got mine off Ebay for a little over $200, including the passenger headset. The shorter range (2 miles) ones are a bit cheaper.

Also, I don't have it hard wired and have never run out of battery on an all day ride.
