Hello Everyone! I was wondering if there are any '09 street glide's with problems
I've riding for 7 years and i'm on my 3rd H-D, but my new bike only has 730 miles on it and the rear cam went. I was wondering if anyone out there has had or heard of the same issue. thanks

some people have complained about the 96 having problems early we have a 09 with about 1200 miles runs like a top very strong, did you ask the mechanic what could have caused it ?

Going to the dealer this morning to talk to them in person, I will definitely ask them and let you know what they say!

Sounds like warranty to me for sure. Let them figure it out. Good luck. Let us know what's up with it.

Might be worth seeing how much of that warranty work they will apply towards an aftermarket cam install.

I wouldn't suppose they'd have to take off the heads, but if it was me, ANY TIME warranty was going to cover labor to R&R the top end, I'd sure pony up for the Big Bore cylinders and slugs.
96 to 103, sweet.

They wouldn't have to remove the heads, but they will have to remove the rockers to change the cam due to the non-adjustable pushrods.... From there it is 10 bolts (6 for bottom rocker box + 4 for the head) per cylinder to remove the heads to be able to remove the cylinders.
