I just got the software today and am almost doen with the training DVD (booooriinnnng) but am forcing myself to watch it.

Hopefully Sunday I'll get it sorted out, I'll save files and graphs and post them here for general info

OK got the software and did a data log around town this afternoon 55 dergrees.

Compared about all the "warm up" tables there were and the Dealer did not tweak any of them, so I richened everything up a tad or two, cold start is better and throttle snap when cold in nuetral is crisp again. Did not have time to ride but will tomorrow most likely.

Will post more details and graphs when I can.

For the record, they DID get the AFR dam near spot on under full throttle and part throttle once the bike is up to temp.

1st, what year is your race tuner? Around town isn't going to give you accurate data recording?

Do you have a race tuner or or a new version of the super tuner. I'd be curious to see some data to maybe give some advice or help. Pull your spark plugs, what do they look like. Got a camera take a pic of the plugs. Can you post some of your maps.

I assume my tuner is a late one as my bike is an 09, but don't know for sure

As to not getting accurate data recording around town, I beg to differ.

The bike and the data log does not know what the bike is doing or where it's at, it only knows what the spark, afr, fuel curves and such are doing and what the base maps are.

It does not matter if it is a 1/4 mile blast or a putt around town, the data it what it is and the recorder does not know the difference.

Here is the before and after acceleration enrichment maps, as they relate to engine temp as the bike warms up, I tweaked it rich across the band and may take it a hair richer, but this is where the vast majority of the improvement was.

(green is the current map and red is the before map)

Here is the AFR table before and after and you can see I richened it up some in the lower operating ranges....

And finally a good log of speed, RPM and AFR on a nice long 3rd gear WOT pull, AFR drops to 13.2 and then quickly down down to 12.5 (power rich) and you can see it's very clean across the range of light load/light throttle although I did take it a step or two richer across the board

All in all the bike is now a tad too rich at idle, and has just a hint of stumble if you REEALLY get it and it's not up to full temp yet but it is 100% better when at temp under all conditions.

I'll probably do some more tweaking and playing with it but for the most part it's very rideable again.
