Hypercharger blood groove hose

Helo again everyone, I was going over some of the finer points of my bike trying to make sure that nothinglse was going to fall off or need tightening and I came across this broken hose on my hypercharger.

It's on the back side of the hypercharger and I don't se any fluids or anything leaking outof it. It feels like there might be some oil or something of that nature, but nothing definite. Is it still safe to run the bike, can the hose be secured with electrical tape or replaced? any help advice or other is highly appreciated since I have NO idea what I'm doing here. I'm going to be replacing it on the 20th with a screamin' eagle air cleaner that came with the bike so I'm just waiting for the paycheck. I'm starting to understand why the best moto is "keep it simple, the fewer moving parts the better becuase then there's less to go wrong.

its just the crankcase breather hose....the only thing that flows thru it is oily hot air....just get a new hose from autozone or tape it up for now
