Fuel line connection from filter to tank

I have a 1995 FLHTCUI I'm going to change the fuel filter out I need to know how the fuel line attaches to the bottom of the fuel tank to the check valve.

The CHECK VALVE illustration #26 is there a special tool to take it out?

The check valve and hose are an assembly, the whole thing unscrews out of the bottom of the tank. The hose needs to be disconnected inside the tank at the filter first, cut the hose clamp off with a side cutter. Also drain the tank before ya start.
