Priming EFI Fuel system?

I bought an '06 Electra Glide recently and took it all apart to paint. I put it back together and it starts and shuts down after about 10sec. Is this most likely from the air in the fuel line? Any body have this experience before? I have a manual on order but it's not here yet. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Self priming. Something else is wrong...... When you turn the key, you'll hear the fuel pump run. Once PSi is up to that set by the PSI bypass, then it's all good. If it starts, and shuts off, you have another issue.....

That bike may be one of the bikes effected by the fuel filter recall........... Look it up.

If you had the tank painted check to see if there is any debris in the tank or at the outlet by the petcock slowing down the flow of gas.

Ok figured it out. When I put the assembly in the tank I pulled the fuel line out the bottom where it attaches to the fuel line barb and when I put it back in and tightened it, the line twisted and cut the fuel off. Thanks for your ideas.

Lightbulb priming efi system

I Have An Idea You Can At Least Try. I Had An Issue With High Idle Rpm. The Rep Turned The Ignition On....paused 10 Secs....primed It....waited 10 Secs And Started It Up....then Shut It Down Waiting 10 Secs After Shutdown Before Repeating Senario 4or5 Times. Could Be It Needs To Be Re-set. Good Luck.
