you need to gut all the fuel pump stuff outa the gas tank, cause you'll just need a fuel shutoff valve for a gravity feed to a carb..not sure if the throttle cables will work or not, maght have to mess with the electronic stuff under the seat..ECM as carbed doesn't need it...it's a job but probably worth it downrange

I converted a 97 Electra Glide last year. Make sure you have a service manual with the wiring diagrams. Some advice to you would be to purchase a single fire ignition (I bought an Ultima). The stock cables should work if you use a CV or Mikuni carb, they will be a little short if you use an S&S. If you plan to run a VOES, be sure and buy the carb version of the horn mount and the upper motor mount. If you decide to do it, I'll help all that I can. It's not real hard, but it is not for beginers.

I've done some of these and the first complaint is lost fuel economy . The S&S is a sewer pipe originally intended for racing . If you have it done use a CV.
P.S. I'd be interested in buying the F.I. equip. that's removed .

I have a 98 RKC and am wondering why you would remove the EFI and replace it with a carburetor?

ok!, now some of you guys are making me nervous......she originally said she wanted $6500. for this scoot. im not so sure now, since she's gone to the beach and is dropping dough to get it fired up, me is beginning to wonder about this "deal"...ive got a line on a 96 fatboy that is very reminicent to the one i lost 36 days ago, maybe ill go that way. it has pretty much all the motor work and styling mine did, already done....he wants $10k for his. you guys have been great in helping me understand what i asked.
