Modern Fuel Injection Systems

I'm looking to upgrade to one of the latest auto tune (wide band sensor) fuel injection systems.

I only know of two choices, Thundermax or PCv are there any others?

The Tmax replaces the entire ECM rather than plugging in between the ECM and the injectors. Which seems like a better setup. Any thoughts?

I like Tmax's idea over the PC-V. Just because it's an isolated, learning system, and a wideband, true learning system. PC-V is the same concept, rather 2 parts instead of one, and a tad cheaper in price. You'll probably find more software and free support with the PC-V. I guess I'm not helping......

This is worth looking at for some insight, TMax gives complete control.

Nice to see an actual satisfied customer. I just have to save up a few more pennies.

So, how does it work exactly? Once you have the Tmax installed, you need to hook it to a PC to tune it? I thought it auto-tuned? Man, I miss my carburetor!

Drum,

This URL gives a good introduction of the TMAX.
You virtually can tune your injected bike similarly to rejeting and change timing through the entire RPM range as you did with your carb, but more precisely.

You can Monitor as you ride and replay the Log, stop it at different rpm's or speed and make a comparison to your map to make changes in fuel or timing in a specific area.

The auto tune feature smooths your settings.
