Bike Stalling while riding

I have a 96 ultra with rush pipes and a motor rebuild with a bigger cam. I was having problems running lean so I bought a 97 ECM and a PCIII. I set it up myself to run rich the last year. This year I took the bike in to have it dyno tuned and the last few times out I have started having problems. I will be riding around 55 MPH and the motor will cut out. I still have full power and am able to start it while coasting. This happened about 3 times that day. Last weekend the first 50 miles it was perfect. After we stopped for about 2 hours the bike would not start. After about 8 attempts it finally started. It ran fine until the evening where the motor was like dieing and then coming back to life. After about 3 cycles it just died and I pulled over and was able to start it after a few trys. Any help would be appreciated.

Coil. Go to the "Electrical" section, and there's a sticky for coil diagnostics.

See if it passes.

Hopefully fixed

Last night I took a look at the PC and found that the wire harness had been melted in a spot. There were three exposed wires that I am assuming were grounding out on the frame. I rewraped all the wires and will find out for sure this weekend if it fixed the problem. I sucks that the dealer did not say anything when I had it dyno'd since they tied the harness up for me.
