Thread disappeared?
I started reading a great thread last night about a new Harley and mods, exhaust, oil and some other things.
Looked like it was gonna be a very informative and interesting thread....anyone else see it?

Yes.....I deleted it. I was in "One of those moods" last night and despite poking fun of various things, people and cituations, I realized that not everyone here is on the same mechanical level, and thought better about it, as it may have insulted some people. Not my intention.....
Despite my desire to help others, I get frustrated at times, and really, shouldn't let that be obvious here, on the forums. Especially in the position I've been trusted to hold. There's another story behind that as well, that only a few people know about. I don't take it lightly, this time around.
Simple things, to me, like owning a Moco manual are common sense, but I can't expect everyone to hold the same values, or priorities that I do. No matter HOW MUCH I tout about it........I'm not the keeeper of the world's Harleys. I have to accept that......
With that said, rather then take the chance of making someone feel like an ass, or have it appear that I'm "downing" a good person who just loves to ride, I opted to delete the thread......
My reason for coming here isn't to make fun of people, although, I enjoy having fun. Sometimes, I feel that my humor is mistaken for being an elitist prick, when in reality, despite my ability and desire to pick and chose friends or associates, I'm willing to help anyone I can, that shares the same interest in motorcycling.
I just thought it best to delete it, and make fun of Dean instead.

Dave,
From someone who knows a little about metric bikes and nothing about a Harley, take it from me, I appreciate any info I can get a hold of.
I admit I am an idiot and I have no ego, being married of course. You are one of the people in here who's every post I read just make sure I don't miss anything. The knowledge base in here amazes me and I wish I had started earlier in life.
So keep up the good work and post your brains out. You make me laugh and you make me learn.
Now if you will excuse me I have to go wash my face. My nose is all brown for some reason.................
