now I have been known to ride (sometimes miles at a time) without either hand on the bars, and have been known to text message while riding, but.....my feet never leave the pegs

i can't recline on mine like that but i ride with no hands all the time. and like rockerbox, i ALAWAYS leave my feet on the pegs. as for using the phone, i don't even like phones must less talkin on one.
