5 year road hazard insurance question

harley optional coverage for 5 years runs about $1300.00.
it covers most everything (towing, tires, motel if broke down on the road, etc.)
would appreciate some inputs as to whether this is a good deal or not

anybody here got it?

thx,

never been a big fan of the extra coverage insurance, but i guess for $260 a year ...............on the other hand why not just put that $1300 in a zip lock, stash it in the saddle bag and see what you got left in 5 years, prolly what ide do

$1300 will buy you allot of tires. I got the tire coverage cause the previous owner has purchased it wolith the bike but I would not have purchased it myself. If I had spent that much money on a road hazard plan I would probably drive down the road trying to run over screws just to get my money's worth.

Unless you;re on the road 24/7, you can do better with AAA, and buying your own tires.

Just my $0.02 cents.
