Same here. With the open face lid I wear on the Harley, I have to cover my face with a bandanna to stop the women fainting

Generally speaking, you don't die on motorcycles.
You die a few yards away from what's left of them.
Yes, I have had two bottles of wine. What the fukk is your problem

Yep, no choice and a couple of my friends got "not approved helmet" tickets this year.
I do have crash bars, because the bike came with them and I kinda like the way they look.
I wear a VEGA Naked. The smallest lightest DOT I could find. I would likely wear this helemt even if not required. I am convinced that helmets can provide some protection in certain slow speed crashes. I always wear gloves.
That being said: helmets and other "safety gear" is only your last line of defence. If you are depending on your helmet you've probably already screwed up.
Safe, defensive riding is your first line of defense. I have been riding for 39 years, the last 35 years incident free. IMO that's not just luck. When I was a young guy, new rider, I was very agressive and had a few accidents. Then I smartened up and the accidents stopped.

i wore what was considered a novelty helmet. it fit my head perfectly......came down to just above my eyebrows and just above my ears..i modified the padding to achieve that fit....it was taken from me on the day of the crash, and i was cited for it......my buddy lent his lid to my lawyer and went to court with it and got the ticket overturned ........will be looking for another one soon

I so much like the increased odds when wearing a helmet,
I'm tempted to get one to wear in my car.
But then again, my car scares the poo out of me..

I have ENGINE GUARDS... I wear a lid to protect my coconut for the one's that love me!
Take a cantelope and drop it from just 3 feet...that's your melon on the pavement!
A good idea, not just for yourself, but for your loved ones...but at least they could buy you coloring books the rest of your life.
DANG Nathan...what kind of cage do you drive that you need to wear diapers?
