I ride with an approved helmet. I have crash bars front and rear. I wear a leather coat, boots, gloves and chaps if appropriate and I would surround myself with a force field if I could.

Anyone who rides without a helmet has no idea where their brains are kept. I spent 20+ years in the ER. I saw a lot of brains that weren't where they belonged.

bars.....no lid, in warm weather, no gloves, jacket, etc.
bars only cause i have my highway pegs mounted to them

I have a lid on my bars but close my lids when I leave the bar.
