1994 Suzuki GSXR 1100...and I have lived to tell about it. Fortunately I was 28 and in the military at the time and would like to think my throttle hand was more firmly connected to my brain than most sport bike riders I saw on the road. Not to say I did not ring it out once in awhile and ooooffff....scary fast.

My first bike I got at 16. It was a 305 honda scrambler that I got from my brother-in-law when he was still dating my sister. I didn't keep it long before I moved on to a Triumph 650 Trophy TR6. By 18 I was on a Sportster.

Alien, I had a '72 Trident I bought as NOS in '73 after 3 years on the Tiger. The 72 didn't have disc brakes etc, so once the '73's were on the floor there was no chance of selling the '72 for list. I paid $1295 for it.
Tridents didn't leak oil. I had a chance to buy a Triumph Hurricane with the canted cylinders but I wouldn't spend the money. I could kick myself in the snatch now.

First bike was an '89 Kawasaki 100cc trail bike was 13. It was on the street, just not
legally . Bought it for $300 with 400 miles on it in in '98.
First legal street bike was a 2003 Suzuki Bandit 1200. Damn was that thing fast. Had that for about 3 months, wasn't comfortable. Got a '02 shadow 1100 now. Looking to get a '99 dyna.
It's funny how most started out on metrics....
