they are either chrome or black caps that cover the heads of the hardware on the bike for a cleaner look

With you there craig, i bet mechanics hate em, but i do most of my own work. Just wanted to know if anyone uses,likes, hates them and why. I really don't like the look of the andonized heads and i will not spend the coin to chrome every bolt.

I did a search.........they're just trinkets and wil be a pain in the arse.

I know a guy with a chromed out sporty,,they look great, don't know about durability,,
He put em on with a dab of silicon,, 
IMO with my black engine they are not for me chrome or black,,

I like them.... had them on my ultra for the last 2 years... no issues
and they still look great... a small pair of channel locks (not vise grips) tape up the ends... grab the ends of the ... and they slide right off... ready to reuse!
I also work on bikes... hot toppers are no big deal!
