Been at work since last night at nine. It's now almost midnight, so it's been parked. I hope to ride it home in a couple of hours. Then I'm gonna SLEEP with reckless abandon!!!

Started out as a wash and ride day. Was planning to ride down to M.B.. After the wash I was doing my pre-flight, when I noticed two nails in my rear tire. Needed tires anyway so I didn't get too bent about it. Called my buddy at the HD dealership he said bring it on, but all he had in stock were 402 Dunlops. Not what I was wanting, but can't stand being down. Couldn't find any body to be on stand-by, so I loaded it on my trailer. Something I HATE to do, well less than a mile from my house one of my trailer tires started smoking. Back home now. Too much bad ju-ju going on today. I'm taking it as a sign. Bikes covered in dust. I'm p!$$ed off. So I'm just gonna say f#ck it! Throw a steak on the grill and just hang out back here on the farm the rest of the day.

Well, I gave myself a kick in the ass and worked on the Ultra...
I got the cam chest back together and tensioners in and gears all torqued up.

Next to the lifters and pushrods...
Maybe I will get an early start on her, but I do have a date with my daughter at noon. We are going to the FINS vs TITANS game.

Progress feels good, my goal is get it back on the road for the annual Toys in the Sun Run.

40's and sunny, post office and to a friends

2 hour ride, froze my nutz...(+3 c)

Went back home,stuck in the winter dose of Stabil,went back to fill it up,returned home,dumped the oil and put it on the jack for the winter.

Rode 330 miles today through the Loess Hills Scenic Byway across the river in Iowa. The temps were great so I had to take advantage of it. The high today was 76 and the high tomorrow is only going to be 37. It was pretty windy today but still a great time.
