BigDog is no more...
This is probably old news to some of you all but I just saw it today.
Too bad. I always liked the BigDogs. Thought they were pretty cool. Especially the bagger model.

I knew it was coming, but hadn't heard that it had happened. maybe thats why they were selling alot of brand new parts cheap on eBay a few months ago

I think Big Dog couldn't adjust to the market conditions
They had a good time during the time that 280 rear tires and a long rake front end was popular. Now the trend is towards fairings and hard bags.

I've had 3 Big Dogs in the past and really enjoyed riding them. When I first heard of them going under, I bailed. The wife wasn't very comfortable riding 2 up and I was thinking of going back to a Harley bagger anyway. I need 2 bikes, one for the wife & I and one for a little me time.

I hear ya, funny thing is, in my garage, the sportster is the 2 up bike, my fatboy is the solo bike.... odd I know

Funny you say that.....There's still a few around here i see....
They show up at random gatherings and rarely associate with the
rest of us..

Overpriced, YES. I never thought they were ugly and the 117ci ran like a scalded dog.
