Muffler Bearings

No more jokes or razzes about lubing the muffler bearings anymore . The H-D active exhaust system has a valve in the left pipe which has bearings in it ! But they're sealed bearings so need no lube .

I'm pretty sure the old mitsubishe 3000gt's had a rotating baffle in it also. Something else new does too but don't remember what it was.

Why would you have a rotating baffle?

Opens the exhaust up at crusing speed. Allows for better flow economy and power. That and a lil sound.

Ah, just never heard of that before. Sounds almost like it must have been a failed attempt since we don't still use that anymore.
