Just traded for my 2004 Road King Classic that pretty much had the entire HD accessory catalog thrown at it over the years. So I am just going to fix a couple issues with the driving lights and a rear LED light that won't stay on.

Talking to Mean City on my seat, time to ditch the Airhawk. I like it but am sick of messing around with the straps. 35K service, new/reworked seat, rear shocks, swap tins, she'll be ready to go.

I finally got a couple of short rides in(weather warmed up). I love the sound. The V&H have a very deep rumble at idle and low throttle, and it opens up with a little more throttle. The 4 1/2" muffs seem to deepen the rumble. I can really tell it when I pull into my garage. This M8 sounds different than my TC103, but I had Rinehart dual headers and slip ons, so different animal, but this new engine design does sound a little different, it is very quite mechanically, and very smooth, I basically hear the rumble and that is it. Awesome bike.

I'm doing a few upgrades this year on my good ole 91 Sporty. All new sheet metal and fresh paint. Donno what color yet but my favorite color is BBQ Black lol. It got new .600 cams last year but it gets fresh stroker flywheels and 3 5/8" top end including Sidewinder heads this winter on my lil sleeper 89 cu inch Sporty. Groan... hours of break in again...
By the way... when you say "up north" do you mean northern British Columbia, Canada north? I'm from Smithers, BC and challenge ANYONE more "northern" than me to post up! It's -25 here today.
